# CPM - Conservation Process Model

This page contains codes, info and guidelines related to CPM. 

The CPM represents the semantic contents of cultural heritage conservation process and points at achieving integration, mediation and interchange of information in the midst of  cultural heritage conservation discipline.

Developed since 2015 by the research group of Sapienza University of Rome within the Department of History, Representation and Restoration of Architecture, coordinated by Professor Donatella Fiorani and Professor Marta Acierno, the CPM is intended as an extension of CIDOC CRMbase for comprehensive representation of historical architecture and the complex interrelations between different aspects concerning cultural heritage: its knowledge, analysis, description, maintenance and conservation. 

It focuses on the specificities of architecture, of the project of architectural restoration and practises operated on built heritage.
